Innisfree Green Tea Seed Eye Cream Review

In my opinion, using an eye cream is key to keeping your under eye area looking fresh and youthful. Also it makes a huge difference in how smoothly your concealer will apply and sit throughout the day. That being said, I haven’t been particularly adventurous with my eye creams because so many gave me milia… It wasn’t until last year that I decided to branch out and try the Innisfree GreenTea Seed Eye Cream.

First of all, let’s take a moment to appreciate the fact that it comes in a 30ml jar instead of the 15ml which is standard for most brands, it’s incredible value for money! This cream will honestly last you ages and I didn’t feel guilty using it morning and night as it is quite affordable for the size. Formula-wise the eye cream contains ingredients like green tea seed oil and shea butter which give it a rich creamy texture without being heavy. It really delivers in the moisture department and makeup applies beautifully over it because it absorbs quickly and leaves the area feeling really smooth.

I’m happy to report that it did not give me milia, instead it left my under eye area looking hydrated and smooth. Overall, I feel like the Innisfree Green Tea Seed Eye Cream is a nice option for those looking for a simple moisturising eye cream for daily use, especially if your skin is quite dry.

You can get the Innisfree Green Tea Seed Eye Cream from RoseRoseShop.

Trilogy Exfoliating Body Balm Review

I often wonder, if I could only ever use one brand for the rest of my life what would it be?  When it comes to skincare the answer is quite difficult as there are quite a few brands I love and am very loyal to. However, for bodycare the answer is clear and simple: I would be perfectly happy to only use Trilogy products. Their body range has always impressed me (I haven’t try much of their skincare yet) and my love for them was once again reinforced after I bought their Exfoliating Body Balm.

This is such a unique product, the balm feels thick and luxurious, meaning your really have to massage it into the skin and giving you a very thorough exfoliation. The mixture of sugar and rosehip seed powder is super efficacious at smoothing the skin and removing dead skin cells. Because the particles are in a balm it really cushions the skin and it leaves it ultra-soft and moisturised thanks to the rosehip oil.

It leaves your skin feeling deeply nourished, enough that I can skip using a body lotion, but it does not feel oily. I have loved using it in the summer, it works really well with self-tanner to maintain your tan and help it fade evenly. The moisturising aspect will also make it great for the colder months. It also has that lovely Trilogy scent which I love, it is very pleasant/soothing and doesn’t linger on the skin which I prefer.

As always, Trilogy delivers a beautiful product that performs well, as a natural formula and smells wonderful. The Trilogy Exfoliating Body Balm is available from many retailers including Lookfantastic and of course the Trilogy website.
